Here is what to expect for MDC clinics/auditions
Clinics ~
Wednesday, May 27th & Thursday, May 28th
6-12 years 4:30-6:00PM
13-18 years 6:30-8:00PM
Dress code- any dance athletic clothing. Bring dance shoes of choice. NO socks unless they are dance socks with turners.
Plan on getting a headshot during clinics for the audition day.
At clinics you will learn the across the floor combo and a short jazz routine to perform for our judges. We will have a short Q & A at the end for any questions dancers have about competition teams at MDC. Ricci will be available for PARENT Q & A in-between clinic classes both days 6:00-6:30PM or by phone anytime before clinics 801-589-4679.
AUDITIONS~
Saturday, May 30th
10:00AM-12:00PM younger
12:30-2:30 older
Dress code- Dance clothes that help you stand out and you feel great in. Dance shoes of choice & tennis shoes for Hip Hop. Come with hair slicked back and make up of choice.
Doors will open 30 minutes prior to audition for an individual warm up + stretch
Dancers will be given a name tag to place on the front of their clothes
We will begin with introductions to our judges, move into our across the floor combinations, perform the jazz routine in smaller groups for the judges, learn a hip hop combo and perform for judges, End with Improv.
