The ELEMENT Recital is TOMORROW! It is a FREE show for everyone. Feel free to post and share the attached invitation to family and friends.
It is an outdoor amphitheater so be prepared with sunblock, light jackets, and hats. The weather is showing 69 and cloudy. Umbrellas are only allowed in the grass area. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the grass area or sit in the seats provided at the amphitheater. Seating is first come first served style seating. The dancers will be allowed to sit in a dancers’ seating area with the teachers following their performance. ONLY mini or preschool dancers are allowed to have parents backstage or sitting with them in dancer seating area.
The company will have concessions at the show and will have flowers for purchase; it is customary to give a performer a flower after the show. I have attached the menu and items for sale. The Company is grateful for your support. They are raising money to get to the World Of Dance Competition in California which they have been chosen to compete at the SUMMIT!
The Dancer call time is 11:45AM. Please bring your dancer backstage and check in with their teacher, have them in costume and ready to perform- jackets or over sweats are allowed.
We will have a pre-show on stage of the MDC soloists for you to enjoy!
SHOWTIME is 12:30PM.
Showtime etiquette – Please only enter or exit for concessions or restrooms in-between performances. Please do not obstruct others’ view with cameras or phones. MDC will be recording the performances to post on social media following the show. Feel free to cheer and give energy back to the performers on stage!
At the completion of the bows please send one parent to check out your dancer from the backstage area. Don’t forget to take photos in front of our backdrop. Make sure you TAG us @thericcimovement and use #dancemdc in your recital photos! We love to share memories of this special day, please share your experience with us.

Same as our winter show. Low ponytail, slick middle part, curls or straight ponytail. If your costume came with a hairpiece it will be bobby pinned above the ponytail. Make sure you criss cross the bobby pins to stay secure. BALLET hairpiece with go on the dancers LEFT SIDE from front hairline back towards ponytail.

Stage Make up with RED lipstick. Blush, eyebrows, lashes and liner. False lashes are recommended for dancers 6 years and older.
