Class Descriptions and Level Placement

Pick a class or two!

Mini Classes

Mini dance is for ages 3-5 years. We explore rhythm, balance, coordination, and body awareness in a fun and active environment. We offer Ballet, dance, and tumble for this age group.


Drill Classes are for students currently on a High School drill team or wanting to audition for High School Drill Teams in the near future. Learn everything needed to be part of a dance team; Military Technique, Flexibility, Strength, Ballet Technique, & Performing Skills.

Performance Team

By audition ONLY. Performance Team Classes perform at various events. Combination class of Jazz, Lyrical style & Hip Hop style. Team takes 3 hours of class each week also training in technique and ballet.


Pointe class is for experienced ballet dancers. Must have 3 years of previous ballet training. Pointe is the art of dancing on specially made ballet shoes that require you to stay on the tips of your toes for extended periods of time.


Jazz is frequently influenced by other dance styles such as Acro, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. All of these styles are incorporated to create an exciting class where techniques are combined.

Recreation Combo

This is a great fun way to explore dance this summer. We will introduce Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, and Ballet styles of dance along with learning exciting routines and staying fit and flexible.


This is an emotional exploration of movement, we will work thru this beautiful style of dance and create choreography as a class.

Diva & Edge Teams

These teams are for dancers wanting to excel in various styles of dance. Divas are for ages 5-8 and Edge is 9 years and up. We train 2 times a week and classes with more intense style of training for dancers wanting to excel and be part of a team.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop classes work on strength & musicality. Stalls, break dancing, popping, locking, & freestyle. Hip Hop music & culture inspire movements. Learn current styles and trends. A nonstop fun upbeat class!


Tumbling is an acrobatic discipline. Our co-ed tumbling class works on coordination, balance, & strength. Tumbling is often used in cheer leading. Many Junior High, High School, College, and All-Star Teams require tumbling as a part of auditions.

CO-Ed Classes

All of our classes are co-ed! Dance class isn't just for girls. Boys are a welcomed addition to any of our classes!


Ballet is a poised style of dance that incorporates the foundational techniques for many other dance forms. This class is very disciplined and structured.

Class Level Placement

Dance and Cheer

Mini Level – 3-5 years

Level 1 – Recreation classes. For dancers that want to enjoy movement and learn the basics of dance.

Level 2 – Intermediate. For dancers who are more dedicated and serious about the art of dance. *ALL level 2 dancers are required to take a minimum of 2 classes a week.

Level 3 – Advanced. For students wanting to excel in the world of dance/cheer (try out for drill or cheer teams in jr., sr., college, & professional level.) This is a commitment to the art.  *Level 3 dancers are required a minimum of 3 classes a week including a required ballet class.


Level 1/2 – Working on cartwheels & handstands.

Level 3 – Working on round offs, walkovers & handsprings. CO/ED boys and girls ages 5 and up.

Open Classes

Boys Hip Hop – Boys ONLY! Ages 5 & up.

Teen Hip Hop – Girls and Boys ages 13 & up.

Drill Prep – Anyone 13 years & up wanting to audition for a high school drill team.

 Pointe – Ages 10 years and up. Previous ballet experience required.



Performance Team

Performance Team-By audition only two times per year for the summer team and the fall/spring team.  Team is for advances serious dancers.  Team is required to attend technique and ballet classes along with team classes.  Performs at various events throughout the year.
